Vernon ROCKS partnered with Rockville High School, Vernon Youth Services, Vernon Police, and the Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals (CAPP) to hold a Hidden in Plain Sight demonstration on Tuesday, February 6, at 6:00 pm at Rockville High School. A CAPP presenter set up a mock teen bedroom giving parents the opportunity to browse through the room and find hidden items. She then went through a presentation of what to look for in teens’ rooms and what to say if you find something. The School Resource Officer from the Vernon Police Department joined in the conversation to talk about the recent trends at RHS and answered several questions from concerned parents.
