On May 14th, The Vernon ROCKS Coalition celebrated National Prevention Week at our annual Rockville ROCKS! Community Block Party! The event was free and open to the public, with the goal of strengthening community bonds and connecting people with information and services that promote healthy mental health and reduce substance use.
We had a resource fair with over 15 vendors from organizations in the mental health and substance use field, a K-9 dog demonstration, drum circle, crafts, ice cream and snacks, music, Hidden in Plain Sight, we also activities and more!
